California – LLC Statement of Information.

There is a new version of the Limited Liability Company Statement of Information from the California Secretary of State (Form LLC-12).

Delaware – Secretary of State Employee Recognition Event.

There will be an off-site Employee Recognition Event on June 17, 2016.

Division of Corporations hours of operation have changed:

– Employees will leave at 11:30AM and all filings submissions will be processed on Monday.

– All 30 minute and 1 hour services must be submitted by 10AM.

– 2 hour services must be submitted by 9AM.

– 24 hour service by NOON.

Mississippi – Scam Alert.

Newly formed businesses in Mississippi have received a postcard stated that they are in a “Potential Compliance Violation”. They also include a toll free phone number where business owner must call them to order a Certificate of Good Standing. This is a false statement. This postcard is not from the Mississippi Secretary of State.
