Rhode Island SOS update!

Rhode Island Update:

Per Rhode Island House Bill 5647 and Senate Bill 618, effective June 19, 2017, foreign nonprofit corporations seeking to qualify with the Rhode Island Secretary of State can now substitute a Certificate of Status in place of charter documents for supporting documentation. The state has not created revised forms that reflect this change as of yet, but hopes to have them next week. A link to each bill is below.
