WA County Recording Fee Increase 7/25/21: Due to recently passed RCW revisions, counties across Washington state will increase recording fees for most documents, including UCCs, Deeds of Trust, and Deeds. These fees will increase by $100, starting July 25th, 2021.

In observance of Independence Day, Fairchild and all state offices will be closed Monday 7/5/21.  Offices will re-open for normal business hours on Tuesday, 7/6/21. Have a safe and happy 4th!

The Corporations Division of the WA Secretary of State’s office will be closed to the public from Monday, 5/3/21, through Friday, 5/14/21. They are directing clients to the services offered via their online system, but are still processing documents submitted by mail.  Please contact us for updates.

On Friday, 4/16, the Nevada Secretary of State’s office, and District of Columbia offices in Washington, D.C. will be closed. Nevada is observing a state furlough day, and D.C. is closed in observance of Emancipation Day. Both jurisdictions will reopen for business Monday, 4/19. The California Secretary of State and all state agencies will be closed Wednesday, March 31st  in observance of Cesar Chavez Day. Please don’t hesitate to contact Fairchild if you have any questions regarding this closure.
