Washington HB 2781 Update!!!

Patrick Reed of the Washington Secretary of State’s office would like to thank everyone for their support. Many people came forward with e-mails, phone calls, and plans to testify. As of Wednesday evening, 1/24/18, the planned hearing for HB 2781 has been cancelled.

However, there is a new bill; HB 2929, similar to HB 2781, which is also bad for business and clients. Currently, the new bill does not have a hearing and also has one less sponsor than the last bill.

We will monitor the happenings for both bills and post any changes here as they occur. Thank you!
