“Congratulations!

HB2989 and its three previous versions did not pass through the legislature this session. It made it as far as the house floor, but did not get a vote. I firmly believe that is because your voices (email, letters, calls) were heard loud and clear. I know dozens of you made noise about how you felt.

Thank you all for your action on these items protecting what you felt was in your, and your clients’ best interests.

Department of Revenue was able to find funding in other parts of the budget to supplement the other services they provide. As always we will keep an eye open, and watch for legislation that could have a negative impact on our customers and those they serve.
