Ohio Secretary of State – UCC and Good Standing Update:

The Ohio SOS is discontinuing their traditional long form good standings – official notice from the Ohio SOS is attached.

Also estimated to be effective July 1st, the Ohio Secretary of State’s office will require all UCC filings to be submitted through the state’s website, either XML or e-filed. Once this takes effect, paper UCC filings will no longer be accepted.
